Lead Dinner Chef: Promotes a positive learning environment in the kitchen. This position takes leadership of the dinner shift. Responsibilities include: staff supervision; quality control; oversight of meal preparation; and food inventory control. Previous cooking experience required. Pay is DOE. Lead Breakfast Cook: Includes cooking and presenting buffet-style breakfasts on a rotating schedule of breakfast shifts. The job requires someone who is not afraid to get up early to start his or her breakfast shift at 3 am and work until 11:30 am. This position takes leadership of the breakfast shift. Responsibilities include: putting breakfast out on time; quality control of food; oversight of meal preparation; baking; and guest service. Great guest service attitude is a must, as you will be the first person greeting our guests each day. Previous cooking experience required. Pay is DOE. Cook: Experience in food preparation and sanitation procedures. Cook and present family-style meals. Great teamwork ethic required. Pay is DOE. End of Season bonus for completed work agreement. Trip Packer: Packs food for trips and coordinates commissary equipment and supplies. Must be organized and detail oriented. Pay is DOE. End of Season bonus for completed work agreement.
Hospitality Staffer: Cabin cleaning, kitchen assistant and dinner service. Must be organized and personable. Pay is DOE. End of Season bonus for completed work agreement.
Essential Requirements for Hospitality Positions:
- Cheerful and enthusiastic attitude during long days and in sometimes cramped work space.
- Possess the ability to work within a team structure and in a flexible manner to accomplish a variety of tasks, including: food preparation, packing, housekeeping and guest service.
- For cooks, capable of preparing hearty and well prepared meals for several groups of people at the same time.
