Campground Manager: Alaska Wildland Adventures is seeking a mature and dynamic individual to fill the position of Campground Manager for our Kenai Riverside Campground. Nestled on the banks of the world-famous (and absolutely stunning) Kenai River, the Kenai Riverside Campground calls the charming community of Cooper Landing, Alaska home.
Primary duties for this position are:

"Live-in" manager at the Kenai River Campground

Innkeeper for the Campground's small Bed and Breakfast style accommodations

Supervision of campground's 2 seasonal staffers

Reservationist for advance and walk-in sales for the Kenai Riverside Campground as well as AWA's day trip rafting and fishing on the Kenai River

Maintenance and light housekeeping as needed
This position runs from May 15 to September 30 with some flexibility. Campground Manager will be required to work 5 days out of each week (including some weekends and holidays). Pay is DOE. The Campground Manager is expected to be "on-call" to answer camper questions and deal with emergencies whenever they are present on-site.
Campground Manager will receive a complimentary RV site (if applicable) with utilities for the duration of employment. For employees without an RV, housing will be provided at no charge. The manager also receives a complimentary Kenai Canyon full-day raft trip or fishing trip with Alaska Wildland Adventure and 2-night stay at remote, boat-in only Kenai Backcountry Lodge.
